EcoWorld’s knowledgeable staff strive to give you an outstanding, up close experience with our animals. We help you discover and better understand some of New Zealand's amazing native animals that live in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.
EcoWorld is home to many different fish species from the Marlborough Sounds, as well as ancient Tuatara, the mystical Seahorse and the Little Blue Penguins* as part of EcoWorld's Rehabilitation Centre. Once recovered we release the penguins, and other species such as the Giant Weta, lizards and Kakariki* into their natural habitat.
Guided Tours 11am and 2pm. Time your visit with our guided tours at 11am and 2pm for approximately 45 minutes.
EcoWorld's Admission Pass valid for 7 days from purchase. You can have lots of family fun with EcoWorld's 7 day pass which means you can come back and visit your favourite animals for a whole week.

Feeding Times and Tours
Feeding Tours are included in the Admission, are daily at 11am & 2pm for approximately 30-45mins.
11am Feeding Tour
Get up close to a Tuatara and learn about these living fossils then follow your guide for further information and feeding of turtles, spotties, and shallows tank.
2pm Feeding Tour
Get up close to a Tuatara and learn about these living fossils then follow your guide for further information and feeding of crayfish, turtles, and main tank with the stingray.
Close Encounters Tour
Daily on demand for groups of up to 14 people at 10am, 12pm, 1pm & 3pm for approximately 1 hour.
Our guide will take you around the Aquarium talking about our animals and get you up close with tuatara, kakariki, turtles, and others. You will also go to behind the scenes, into our rehabilitation and breeding centre and learn about what we do and meet any patients we have in our care.
